I think we’re pregnant! So I’m pretty sure Sarah (my kitty) is pregnant. Her little tummy is growing and her appetite is crazy. About a month ago I took her into the pet shop where I bought her and talked to the owner about breeding options and he said he had a himalayan/persian male. Since Sarah’s 3/4 persian and 1/4 Angora they would make super cute babies. Why go to all this trouble you might ask?? Well… the kittens are worth a lot! ;) If I’m right and she is prego, her due date will be September 20th. I guess it only takes 9 weeks for kitties to bake. Crazy. Hopefully she’ll have a lot!!! I’ll keep you posted. This might be what they’ll look like. SO CUTE! Gah!!

I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a better deal shopping. I’m pretty sure the manufacturer’s paid more to make the clothes than I did to purchase them lol 

I woke up surprisingly early this morning (7:30) so I text Jen to see if she wanted breakfast at the place we always go to- AJ’s cafe- and she was up too! So we got some breakfast and drove around checkin out all the yard sales. Got some good deals on a garden lantern, bright orange pot, and old cream suitcase BUT it was nothing compared to the deals we got at the fancy store downtown Turlock called Glitz. the name says it all. It was just a joke to even walk in the store because of their outrageous prices. After about 10 minutes of looking at the $300 designer jeans and $200 blouses we were about to leave. Then wayyyyy in the back I saw a “Everything $5” sign. I had Jen double check for me- but it really did say $5!! It was so fun picking out shirts that were originally triple digits. I went crazy and spent a total of 63 bucks. I did the math later and if everything had been full priced it would have been somewhere around $760! jeepers!!

Yay! it took awhile, but I’m finally finished.

Denair Friends officially has a new pastor- Matt and Loise Kuffel! They are amazing people, and it has been so cool getting to know them more and more. I thought instead of making aNotHer item for my house, I’d make them a house warming gift (they just came back from serving as missionaries 8 years in Cambodia). I saw this idea of making family signs with the year the couple was married and thought it was the cutest. Coincidently, Matt and Loise’s wedding anniversary is next week! ;) 

I’ve been seeing all these cute wooden signs with hooks on blogs that people have made and want to try my hand at creating one. So I got the wood ($4) the hooks (2.50 each) and already have some paint. Jen suggested making a wire word saying instead of painting it so it’ll be less permanent, and could even change what it says throughout the seasons. Like winter have it say, “Bundle Up” and in the summer “Bikini’s & Trunks”. Here’s some pictures of inspiration, and my supplies. I’ll let you know how it goes :)

Put the textbooks away and pull out the coloring books! 

So I’ve been working at TC’s preschool for about two months now and boy, I’ll tell ya, everyday is such a new learning experience, and I’m having so much fun doing it! It’s been such an adjustment too- from being a full time student to an ‘almost’ ;) full-time employee. I know what my sister was talking about now when she said ‘Stay in school as long as you can!!’ Working from 7 or 8 in the morning til 5 or 6 at night really makes you put your priorities in order. By the time I get off work, I think to myself ‘I have about 4 hrs before I need to go to bed, what should I do??’ haha, I’ll get the hang of it though! Right now I really like that I get to work with all different age groups so I can get a feel for how each class works and meet/work with all the different teachers. I’ll ask them for nuggets of wisdom for how to handle certain situations and usually end up laughing at how funny these little guys can be sometimes. One day, after I woke the 3’s up from their naps one of the little boys said their was a monster in the closet. I suggested it might be afraid the dark, so he went and asked if it was. He came out of the closet with his hands cupped and said it was a nice- baby- monster. He proceeded to feed and put to bed the pretend baby monster. It was adorable lol  

So that’s what’s been going on with me lately! 

Oh, on another note, one of my bestest friends Jordan is back to Cali and we finally were able to meet up for some much needed catching up! I’m so excited she’ll be here for the next little while with her husband before they venture down to So-Cal and live there :)

Family Fun- Finally! we all were finally able to get together to celebrate father’s day, Rob’s birthday, and mine! ;)   

Yay! 22! I had such an amazing day today. My mama and Natalie, balloons in hand, came to T-town this morning and we got breakfast at Panera which was super yummy :) Then mid-breakfast work called and said I wouldn’t have to come in til two hrs later than originally planned (thanks Lord! ;) so I got some extra visiting time with them. Then tonight Garett, Steph, and I went out and took some fun pictures (haven’t done that since Thanksgiving!). And Garett treated me to my favorite restaurant Cool Hand Lukes :) Had such a blessed day! And the funs not over yet ;) Garett got tickets to Mary Poppins playing Saturday in Sacramento… I’m so excited!!!
