This just blows me away. In the very end, he talks about a protein cell that holds every cell in our body together. This cell, called laminin, is in the SHAPE OF A CROSS. Amazing. “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” Colossians 1:17 Our God is an amazing God.

Can't sleep, sometimes that's not a bad thing
Let me not stray from the joy of Your presence
Let me not linger long on the words I speak
and forget my King to Whom they seek
Let me not fall in the idolatry of my heart
Nor let me not wander again unto my destruction

You are the words, I am the illustration.
I rolled over in bed and grabbed my phone to see the time. 7:05. My alarm wasn’t going to go off until 7:30. The debate between whether or not I should go back to sleep or just get up now took place as usual. While fighting flesh with reason, I look at the book on my nightstand. No, I didn’t look at my Bible. I looked at my old copy of The...

I’m making my way through the last of Francine River’s Mark of the Lion series. In efforts to not ruin any of the story for me I am meticulous about marking where I left off. If I lose my place I always look from where I’ve read to where I haven’t in finding my lost spot. It occurred to me in this that in the same way I wouldn’t wish to ruin the end to this good story I’m reading, I am completely...
